Our clients moved to Providence with their young family in the height of the covid-19 pandemic. They were excited about their new home- particularly the spacious renovated kitchen, new pool and gracious gardens. But the rest of the home felt stuffy and dark. We were tasked with creating interiors that reflected their hip and modern style and worked with their lifestyle. We relied on textiles rich in color and pattern, textured natural floor coverings, joyous wallpapers, modern decorative lighting and brighter paint colors to transform the space.

Biggest challenge

Outdoor design meetings in 30 degree weather. And since we wore masks all the time, we didn’t see each other’s smile until after working together for over a year.

Bejeweled dancing elephants enliven what was once a shadowy, unwelcoming space. The main powder room is now a joyous space with a big personality.
