A skylight in the zero-entry double shower drenches this master bathroom in natural light while a white oak wall adds warmth to the spa-like space. Wormy chestnut salvaged from an antique barn was used to make the custom guest bathroom's floating vanity.

DEMOLITION SURPRISE

A 1960s sunken Roman bath covered in pink marble graced the original master bathroom.   A furnace fed vent in the floor kept the water warm.

Barely visible medicine cabinets flank the vanity mirror.
